Psychedelic Psaturday on the Rocks! A very different feel than Friday- Bobby was much more involved and brought much more energy to the show. This empowered JK to really fly, in his own voice, which is all that we can ever wish for any musician- that they find the highest expression of who they are. Joe played 'like a young god.' Jeff is also bringing great energy to the band, and expanding his palette of colors with his Molitz-like synth explorations. And Phil, while not quite channelling Shiva as he did on Friday, is still the musical epicenter of the band. And bless him for his senior moment, forgetting verse one of Unbroken Chain. He was puzzled after the first couple of lines, but could't figure out quite why in the moment. Took his frustration out on his bass during the jam.

Sunday matinee today, still tickets left if you can get a cheap flight out to Denver.

the 257 times the Grateful Dead played Dew - the last encore showing was when? 1974?

Morning Dew>Playin' Reprise was supposed to end the second set.

I heard on another board that Dew as an encore hadn't been done since 69.
Seldom turns out the way it does in a song
