- About me
Until my knee injury, I was a self-employed timber cruiser working in the forests of the Pacific Northwest. I returned to college in 2008, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2010. I've been extremely fortunate to attend 26 Furthur concerts during 2009 and 2010.
I am concerned about the consequences of human actions on our planet. For my college internship, I was part of a team that calculated the carbon footprint of the college. I used this knowledge to calculate my personal carbon footprint for the September Furthur tour, concluding that I am responsible for adding a metric ton of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere for every 5 shows attended.
I have many ideas for offsetting the footprints we make, and want to apply for the position of Furthur's Sustainability Coordinator.
